Reflection of the Course

It is very hard to believe that my journey in English 102 is coming to an end. The journey has been so much more enjoyable than initially expected. I didn't want to take this course numerous times because reading and writing have not been my strong points. This class set my goal to obtain my bachelor degree by the end of this semester. This class was much better than the others. I felt learning literature come much easier. I enjoyed the class materials and the Professor Brady did a very good job responding in my papers. Because of the much better experience, I truly believe I have become a better writer and better critical thinker.
Fish bowl was an important tool in developing my understanding of different aspects of the literature reviewed in this course. This fish bowl allowed me to understand other students ideas on same topic, as well as Professor Brady's direct and deeper analysis. Working on fish bowl helped me to talk more and gave me encouragement.
English was difficult to me because it is my second language. However, in this class we were encouraged to express our own ideas. Professor Brady never gave us a test in lecture. All she want was us to understand the literature. This semester became my favorite and challengeable class. I never like to read in English because it was boring. However through this class reading became interesting to me and I am so glad I met Professor Brady. I never thought reading was this interesting. Professor Brady always explained about the stories, essays, and poems. All of the classmates probably saw her passion to teach. All of the students had to talk, read, and understand the work.
